The EDL Practi-Cal temperature calibrator makes dependable on-site validations of sensors possible. It allows in-house or in-field calibrations, and is ideal for quickly identifying out of tolerance or damaged sensors, therefore reducing process deviations related to temperature. In cases were plant personnel are unable to identify the source of temperature errors, the use of a high quality EDL sensor in conjunction with the PractiCal as a control source, provides the means of qualifying the error and maximizing the confidence level in the measurement process.
The Practi-Cal is versatile; designed to calibrate two major types of temperature sensors: immersion and surface. Designed with interchangeable thermocouple wells that vary in diameter, this unit is all that’s needed for accurate calibrations of both surface and insertion sensors. This device uses a Eurotherm Controller with ITools for easy automation of your temperature measurement process.
The Practi-Cal is manufactured at our facility and can be customized to meet the special requirements of your sensor calibrations.
