Description
SIKA diesel engine dial thermometers are the ideal solution for local temperature measurement of fluids and gases on large diesel engines, e.g. for marine propulsion or in the diesel electric power generation area. Depending on the display range, they are useful for measuring exhaust gas, cooling water, lubricating oil and charge air temperatures. They have a long service life and do not require any external power.
Type 6312 to 1372 dial thermometers are local thermometers with a crimped-on ring case. Housings and immersion tubes are made of stainless steel. All devices comply with EN 13190 and meet the class 1 requirements.
The devices are available in the nominal sizes 63, 80 and 100 mm. The crimped housings are permanently sealed (IP65) and are supplied standard filled with silicone oil to protect against vibrations.
The customary display ranges are 0…100°C, 0…120°C, 0…160°C, 0…200°C and 50…650°C. Diesel engine dial thermometers are equipped with plain immersion tubes and adjustable compression fittings with G1/2 or G3/4 male threads. The standard immersion tube diameter is 10 mm (NS63) and 12 mm (NS80 and 100). For nominal sizes 80 and 100 mm, an immersion tube diameter of 13 mm is optionally available without surcharge. The immersion tube in jacketed-sensor design is optimised for tough use. If desired, we can also supply matching solid-material protection tubes for the thermometers.
